Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about appointments, treatments and visiting Presidental Clinic.

Presidental Clinic provides dental implants, oral and maxillofacial surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, orthodontics and clear aligners, preventive dental care and emergency dental treatment.

Your first appointment normally includes a discussion of your concerns, a clinical examination and any necessary diagnostic imaging. Your dentist will then explain the findings and recommend suitable treatment options.

We assess urgent concerns such as severe toothache, swelling, broken teeth, dental trauma, bleeding and lost fillings. Call the clinic as early as possible so the team can advise you about appointment availability.

Dental implants may be suitable for many adults with missing teeth, but factors such as gum health, available bone, medical history and oral hygiene must be assessed first. A clinical examination and imaging are required before a final recommendation can be made.

Implant placement is normally performed using local anaesthesia. Some temporary discomfort or swelling may occur afterward, and your dentist will provide instructions to help manage the recovery period.

The timeline depends on the condition of the tooth, bone and gums, whether additional procedures are needed and how the area heals. Some cases may be completed more quickly, while others require several months before the final crown is fitted.

Clear aligners can treat many alignment and bite concerns, but they are not the right solution for every patient. An orthodontic assessment is necessary to determine whether aligners or another treatment option would provide the best result.

The appropriate schedule depends on your oral health and risk factors. Many patients attend routine examinations every six months, while patients with gum disease or ongoing treatment may need more frequent visits.

Insurance coverage depends on the patient’s provider, network and treatment. Please contact reception before your visit to confirm current insurance and payment information.
